AIFF Grassroot Leaders Course

Mangalore: Football Club Mangalore organized a 3 day All India Football Federation Grass Root Leaders Course and Grassroot Festival from 13th to 15th April at the Yenepoya Deemed to be University Soccer Ground.

This event conducted under the aegis of AIFF was supported by the DK Football Association and Karnataka State Football Association.

FC Mangalore President Mr Farhaad Yenepoya congratulated the children and the coaches who participated in this festival and said that this will go a long way in promoting professional football in this region. The Chief Guest of the Valedictory programme, Mr Hussein, Secretary, DK Football Association,  lauded the initiative of starting  Football Club Mangalore and said that this will help in channelizing the soccer talent especially in the Dakshina Kannada region.

The AIFF instructor, Mr Shailesh Karkera was impressed by the football facility provided at the Yenepoya Campus. He opined that this would definitely help build good teams who have the potential to make a mark in the soccer map of the country.
