Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner D Randeep has  instructed officials concerned to register a case against Mysuru- Kodagu MP Pratap Simha in connection with the  violation of  rules under Motor Vehicles Act  during the Hanuma Jayanthi procession in Hunasur taluk recently.

 The MP had used a special vehicle during the procession despite the authorities while granting permission for the procession had stated in clear terms that special vehicle cannot be used.

The Hanuma Jayanthi case was given  special consideration as  procession was not allowed  during any other Jayanthi. The district administration had to intervene to solve the issue, the Deputy Commissioner stated.
