St Aloysius College organizing ‘Shooting Stars 2018’
SAC: The Undergraduate Department of Journalism of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) is organizing ‘Shooting Stars 2018’, a national level filmmaking, documentary and photography seminar and workshop on Saturday, February 10 2018.
Eminent Tamil film-maker duo Pushkar and Gayathri, credited with critically acclaimed films like ‘Vikram Vedha’ and ‘Oram Po’ will be taking up a session in the morning, while national award winning director V K Prakash, who has made films in Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Marathi, will be taking up the afternoon session. The theme for this year is ‘Cut - Copy - Paste’.
A documentary, short film and photography competition open to undergraduate and postgraduate students will also be held. The seminar aims at helping budding filmmakers showcase their work on a national platform.
